3D printers

At IPD CAD LAB, we are equipped with advanced 3D printing systems that enable rapid production of prototypes, functional test parts, and end-use products in support of research and development.

We operate two additive manufacturing technologies: SLA and FDM. Our equipment includes four 3D printers — the professional SLA printer Formlabs 4L and three FDM printers: Flashforge Creator 4, Bambu Lab H2D, and Bambu Lab X1C. This allows us to adapt the printing process to the required complexity, size, and intended application of each part.

The printer enables the use of all commercially available resins. In addition, professional resins from Formlabs are available, designed for various applications covering a wide range of mechanical and functional properties, including:

  • Industrial FDM 3D printer for manufacturing parts from engineering-grade materials
  • Build volume: 400 × 350 × 500 mm
  • Dual independent extruders enable printing of two parts simultaneously or combining two different materials in a single build.
  • Interchangeable extruders support a wide range of materials, including:
    • TPU85A / TPE / TPB / TPC
    • PC / PA / PP / PETG / ASA / ABS / PLA / PC-ABS / PAHT / PVA
    • PACF / PET-CF / PP-CF / PA-GF / PC-ABS / PP-GF / PPS-CF / PPS
  • High-performance FDM 3D printer for rapid development of larger-volume prototypes
  • Build volume: 350 x 320 x 325 mm
  • Dual nozzles enable dual-color or dual-material printing.
  • The AMS unit allows multi-color or multi-material printing within a single build.
  • Supported materials:
    • PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, PET-CF, PA-CF, PPS – CF
  • FDM 3D printer designed for rapid prototyping of smaller parts. Ideal for testing ideas and designs before printing from technical materials
  • Build volume: 256 x 256 x 256 mm.
  • The AMS unit allows multi-color or multi-material printing within a single build.
  • Supported materials:
    • PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, TPU
